RTS Transit Center

 

Sr. Interior Designer for 87,000 SF Transit Center operated by RTS as the central transfer station of a hub to the local bus system. The unique and advanced facility transitions the experience of using public transportation in the Rochester region and is a dramatic addition to the downtown building environment. Functionally the project features 26 bus gates through which over 20 thousand customers shall pass per day.

2015 Craftsmanship Award for the installation of the intricately designed terrazzo floor by E.G. Sackett Company's Jason Requa .

 

2015 IES Harley Hill Excellence in Lighting Award and IESNA National Award of Merit for the design and execution of the custom ceiling and wall lighitng installation by Bergmann Associates and Illumination Arts.

Project Interior Designer for renovations to a unique not-for-profit organization that brings four legal service agencies together to serve low income, disabled and disenfranchised individuals and families in need of legal representation. Transformation of first floor main lobby by removal of an unused escolator created a bright multi-use space for organization.

Interior Designer, provided design development, construction documentation and construction administration support for new stand alone 7.800 SF fire station. The station includes (3) full size apparatus bays with a mezzanine rescue training area, kitchen, dayroom, showers, watch/dispatch room and a 60 person training room.
